Village of Shops

The Aiken Steeplechase tradition dates back to the beginning of the 1900s, and this event becomes more popular with each passing year. The Village of Shops began in 1993 and is now a much-anticipated part of the Steeplechase. Vendors from all over the Southeast bring their wares to sell throughout the day of the races. Items range from equestrian gifts, antiques, paintings, clothing and jewelry, and much more.

Come join us at the 19th running of the Aiken Fall Steeplechase on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

Selection Process
Village of Shops participants will be selected by a jury from the Office Committee. We will select vendors who provide the diversity to reduce competition and to satisfy patrons of the Aiken Steeplechase race meets. Priority will be given, but not guaranteed, to past Village of Shops participants and vendors who select the Spring/Fall Deal, which begins in the Spring of each year.
