THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STEEPLECHASE
All tickets and parking passes for this year’s Aiken Fall Steeplechase are being issued digitally. Please check your email for tickets and parking passes sent from info@aikensteeplechase.com. Be sure to print your parking pass.
Remember, parking passes must be printed and clearly displayed in your windshield when approaching the gate. Directions to the grounds will depend on your parking location and gate number, which are listed on your parking pass. All infield vehicles must be parked before noon, as vehicle crossings will close promptly at 12:00 PM and will not reopen for exiting until after the third race at 2:30 PM. Pedestrians may cross between races throughout the day.
Please note that golf carts, scooters, drones, and small motorized bikes are NOT allowed on the premises.
To help keep the grounds clean and beautiful, please bring garbage bags, tie your trash at the end of the day, and leave it near a trash receptacle.
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, those planning to consume alcohol on race day are encouraged to designate a driver.
The Aiken Steeplechase Office will be closed October 28 -31, 2026.
RACE DAY RULES
- TICKETS are REQUIRED and will be scanned at all gates. Once a ticket is scanned, it cannot be scanned a second time for entry.
- No re-entry without repurchase of Patron & General Parking Tickets.
- No drones, generators, or glassware.
- No personal restroom facilities.
- No personal golf carts.
- No political or business signage.
- Tents are permitted in all parking spaces, but must not be larger than 10’ x 10’ and placed 5’ back from the racecourse rail, unless otherwise specified.
- Vehicles over 12’ high are not permitted in railside tailgate spaces.
- Disruptive and obnoxious behavior is cause for expulsion from the grounds and permanent loss of space.
- Zero tolerance for underage consumption and/or excessive consumption of alcohol.
- Ticket holder assumes all risk of personal injury, damage to or loss of property associated with the event.
- By entering the Aiken Steeplechase grounds, you consent to photography and video. Your image and likeness may be captured and used by the Aiken Steeplechase for promotional, marketing, and other related purposes.
F.A.Q.
Can I purchase tickets and parking on race day?
YES, We encourage you to purchase your tickets online prior to arrival to help with traffic flow. All gates will sell race day tickets and parking if you need. NO CASH at the gates. Children 10 & under are free and do not require a ticket.
Do I need a printed ticket to enter the venue?
ONLY printed Parking Passes are REQUIRED for entry.
Electronic tickets on mobile devices will be accepted for all individual people tickets.
What time do gates open and close?
All gates open at 9:00 a.m., and close to the venue at 5:30 pm.
Can I exit and re-enter the venue?
NO RE-ENTRY WITHOUT REPURCHASE OF PATRON & PARKING TICKETS.
Where can I stand to watch the races?
General admission viewing areas are available at the Red and Yellow Vehicular crossings.
All railside spaces are reserved for the exclusive use of the spaceholder and their guests.
Where can I purchase tickets before the race?
At our office located at 528 Two Notch Rd. S.E. Aiken, SC 29801. Our office is open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Can I set up my tent on Friday before?
Friday ONLY Railside and Second Row Tailgate Tent Setup Available for a $50 donation. Reserved Railside and Second Row Space holders may set up their tailgate between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Space holders are required to enter through the Red Gate and show proof of donation or pay $50 cash at the gate to set up. Present your Reserved Parking Hanger for entry. Gates will close to the facility at 6 p.m.
